Visit the Studio.
Occasionally we open the Hainan studio to serious wearers. Two hours. With mo. You pick your stones from the trays, watch them strung, leave with the piece in hand. Eight slots a quarter — no more.

Most days, the studio is just mo and Daisy and the stones. But once a month — typically a Thursday or Saturday, depending on the season — we open the door to two visitors. Sometimes more, never more than four in a single day.
The visit isn't a tour. There's nothing to tour. It's a few hours with mo, with the trays out, with the bench between you. You're there to make something — your own piece, end-to-end, in a way that's not possible from a screen.
We started doing this because a small handful of wearers had flown to Hainan on their own and asked to see the studio. Saying no felt wrong. Saying yes turned into a small ritual.

We meet at the studio. The kettle's already on. We sit, we talk about what brought you here — what piece you came to make, what you've been thinking about.
I pull the stone trays you might want for your piece. Often I'll bring more options than we need. You pick the specific beads — by hand, by feel, by light.
The selected stones get laid out on the linen cloth. We photograph. You take one too if you want. The composition is right when you say it is.
I string while you watch. Hand-knotted on silk thread, the same way every piece is done. This takes 25-40 minutes depending on the piece. We talk. Or don't. Mostly don't.
The 925 silver clasp goes on. You receive the next archive number — yours from that moment forward. I write the letter that goes in your box, with your name and the piece's name, in front of you. Then we put everything in the box together.
Wear it out the door if you'd like. The box stays for memory. We hug if it feels right. Daisy will email you within the week with the formal archive entry.
Wenchang, Hainan. About 90 minutes by car from Haikou airport (HAK). We can recommend a driver. There are good hotels in Wenchang town and along the coast.
One Thursday or Saturday per month, set 6-8 weeks ahead. Avoid July-August (typhoon season). Mornings are nicer than afternoons because of the light.
Wearers who've ordered (or are seriously planning to order) a SENMOMO piece. We're not a tourist studio — we don't have demos for people just curious about crystals.
The visit itself is free. You pay for the piece you make ($148-$215, depending on the stones you pick). No extra fee for the in-person service.
We have 8 slots a quarter and a long waitlist. Tell us about you and what piece you'd hope to make. We'll write back within a week with available dates.
We respond to all visit requests within a week. If we can't accommodate you in your preferred quarter, we'll offer the next available date.
