Our Story

Not a brand. A studio.

How SENMOMO began — and why every bracelet has a name.

— mo's studio, morning light —

For a long time, I bought crystal jewelry the same way most people did — online, from photos that looked nothing like what arrived. The stones were beautiful. The bracelets were not. There was no person behind them. There was no thought.

I started SENMOMO in 2024 because I wanted to make the bracelet I couldn't find — one that had been touched by an actual person, one that knew who it was for, one that didn't feel like a product.

"What if you knew the person who made your bracelet — and they knew you?"

The studio, today.

SENMOMO is a small studio in Hainan, China. Today there are three of us: me (mo, the designer), Daisy (who knows our customers better than I do), and a small bench of crystal materials I've collected over the years.

Every piece we ship is made-to-order. Every piece is named — not "Model A" or "SKU-403," but something like Her Tenderness or April Rain. Every piece is photographed before it leaves the studio. And every piece comes with a small handwritten note from me about why I chose those particular stones for you.

Why we work this way.

The crystal industry is built on volume. Big factories produce thousands of identical bracelets a day. They are not bad. They are just not personal.

We are the opposite. Slower. More expensive. Smaller. We made about 800 bracelets last year, and we know where most of them ended up — on the wrists of women in twenty different countries who wrote back to tell us what their bracelet meant to them.

We can't scale this. We don't want to. Whatever SENMOMO becomes, it will always be a studio first, and a brand second.

What we believe.

We believe a bracelet should have a name. Yours might be The First Day of Spring or For the Mother I Miss. We'll help you find it.

We believe you should see what you're getting before you get it. That's why we photograph every piece and send it for approval before shipping. If you don't love it, we adjust until you do.

We believe technology should serve craft, not replace it. Our AI assistant helps you find the right combination of stones — but I review every single design before it's made. AI suggests. mo decides.

We believe in slow things. A SENMOMO bracelet takes 7–10 days to reach you. Not because we are slow — but because we are careful. We hope you'll find that the wait is part of the gift.

"Every bracelet I send out has a small piece of me in it. That's not marketing. That's just true."
